FSA GRADIENT Line – Engineered for Enduro, Trail & Downhill

Lesezeit: 3 – 4 Minuten

After years of collaboration, prototyping, and testing with some of the world’s most elite riders, Full Speed Ahead (FSA)officially unveils the GRADIENT 2025 range – a high-performance component series purpose-built for the demands of modern Trail, Enduro, and Downhill mountain biking.

Developed alongside the Atherton Racing Team, this next-generation lineup reflects the perfect fusion of rider feedback, advanced materials, and precision engineering – all brought to life through a truly global, in-house production process.

A Fresh Identity for a Proven Line

The GRADIENT range receives a complete visual and technical overhaul: A sleek tone-on-tone black aesthetic and a reimagined logo echo the classic FSA stripes, signaling a new era for this gravity-focused series. But it’s more than just visual appeal—FSA reengineered the components from the ground up to meet the highest performance standards.

In-House Innovation: From Concept to Race Day

Every GRADIENT 2025 component is designed, tested, and manufactured through FSA’s fully in-house process. Across its Taiwan headquarters, more than 550 specialists manage:

  • Design & Simulation: CFD, FEA, and FEM-based modeling

  • Production: Including CNC machining, 3D printing, carbon lamination, injection molding, and laser etching

  • Testing: Dedicated lab with internal and EFBE-certified performance compliance testing

With active input from FSA’s USA R&D team and European on-track liaisons, this multi-continental collaboration ensures consistent quality, rider-driven innovation, and rapid iteration from prototype to final product.

The 2025 GRADIENT series is the culmination of relentless rider-driven development. With direct feedback from Gee, Rachel and Dan Atherton, combined with FSA’s global design and manufacturing teams, the result is a component range that's lighter, stronger and more refined than ever before.

GRADIENT i30 Carbon Wheelset

Control Without Compromise

Engineered for total control on aggressive Enduro and DH terrain, the i30 wheelset blends stiffness, compliance, and innovation.

  • Hookless, 30mm internal width carbon rims

  • 22–24mm variable rim height for increased ride compliance

  • Asymmetric 4mm spoke bed with 28 direct-pull double-butted spokes

  • Superwide 3.5mm sidewalls to reduce pinch flats

  • PRS X-900 hubs with 72-point instant engagement

  • Compatible with tubeless systems and tire inserts

  • Weight: 1,869 g (pair)

  • MSRP: €1,498.00

Technical highlights:

  • Rim turret technology at spoke entry points enhances strength while reducing material between them – inspired by interspoke milling in road wheels.

  • Variable rim height improves terrain adaptability and shock absorption.

  • Tool-free hub design for fast, no-fuss maintenance.

  • Lifetime Warranty included – a testament to durability and trust in quality.

Tested Beyond Standards:
Every i30 wheel undergoes extensive torsional, impact (>90 Joules), fatigue, spoke stress, and mud resistance testing—surpassing industry norms to deliver absolute reliability in real-world racing conditions.

GRADIENT MODULAR Crank

With HOLLOW CRANK TECHNOLOGY

The new GRADIENT crankset strikes the ideal balance between lightweight construction and downhill-rated strength.

  • Forged AL7050 hollow crank arms, precision CNC-machined

  • Modular direct-mount 100% CNC AL7075 chainrings (30–36T)

  • Adjustable chainline (52–55mm)

  • BB392EVO spindle, 30mm

  • Shimano & SRAM 12-speed compatible

  • Weight: 620 g

  • MSRP: €379.00 (crank), €198.00 (chainring)

Hollow Crank Technology engineering features:

  • Two hollow forged arms, precisely machined and bonded using advanced techniques

  • Delivers a 40% strength increase over FSA’s KFX cranks with minimal weight trade-off

  • Hard anodized finish for long-lasting durability

  • EFBE and compliance-certified, showing zero issues with bending or failure under lab conditions

Whether you're climbing to the top or charging into a rock garden at speed, the GRADIENT crankset is built to handle it.
